In this project, I use python libraries - namely, numpy, pandas, plotly, pycountry and chartstudio - to understand the efficacy of gender quotas on creating equal representation in national governments. Through my analysis, I discover that gender quotas do indeed work but are not necessarily a guarantee in increasing women's representation in parliaments.
